I am using this wireless keyboard on my 8th generation Apple Ipad. It arrived in the mail the next day in nice protective packaging with well written instructions. The basic setup consists of turning on Bluetooth in the settings on your iPad. It literally took less than a minute. The keyboard came with a rechargeable battery, but the user manual says you need to charge the device for 6 hours before using it for the first time. It comes with a USB cable. The keyboard itself is black, sturdy, heavy gauge plastic and comes in a heavy duty case to protect your Ipad. The keyboard itself sits on the case with magnets as shown in the attached image. This is of course not an Apple product, but it is still very high quality, has the same functionality and costs less than half of the original accessories. I highly recommend this wireless bluetooth keyboard.
