Review on Dorman 620-419 Engine Cooling Fan Assembly - Ideal for Nissan Models (Select) by Rudy Santos

So there are some flaws with this fan. I bought one to fit my '03 Nissan Maxima and he said it would fit my car. The only thing that came out were the plugs. It looked very similar to my original fan assembly, but its assembly was different. In the photos you can see some differences in the installation position. I have listed below what I found wrong with the fan assembly.1. The tabs that abut the underside of the mainstay have been offset about 1 inch. I ended up having to cut off one of the protrusions to allow the fan assembly to sit flat. next to the battery i had to cut off a piece during installation to free the holder on the car. 3. The mounting brackets that attach to the top of the main post have been offset 1 inch. I was only able to secure it with one of the clamps. In addition, the brackets were not sunk like the original. This made bolting difficult as the bracket was too far from the vehicle's main support.4. Not all of the fan harness holes were on the fan assembly. There were a few I could use but there were plenty of places to attach the wiring harness but there weren't any holes. So I had to zip most of the wiring harness up to make sure they were touching the fan and not hot surfaces. Overall, the fan assembly looks well put together. Only the value is wrong. The fans ran when the car was warming up which is a plus and the only reason I gave it 2 stars.
