I got my hard drive a while ago, my neighbors house caught fire and they lost everything and shortly after that I saw an article about ioSafe in a magazine. I like the look of the drive and its fire and water resistance. The indicator light is unobtrusive, but lets you know it's on and processing data (unlike my old WD MyBook, which lights up the whole room when you turn on the status light). The drive is quiet and gives the impression of a reliable and well-made device. At least now I have peace of mind knowing my backup is fireproof, but let's hope that never happens. Backup schedules so you always have an up-to-date backup in a safe place. A few days after I received my drive, I received an email from the company's CEO asking me to take a short survey, which I did, but I never thought the CEO would be in interested in emails in any way. Shortly after responding to the survey responses, I received a personal response from the CEO thanking me and answering my question about the device. Also, he told me that this was a small company and I could contact him if I had any further questions about the ride. Being so close to the customers makes me feel like this company is there for the long term and cares about their products and customers, which is why I wanted to get a job at ioSafe.
