If you have OCD you may not need them. If you just want functionality and not form, then they're fine. Difficult to use original equipment when trying to keep the wire in place. At the end of the cup, everything is in the hand, not outside, making it difficult to use the original mount. I don't like the screw/washer on the wire. Over time, the wire can wear out. Where the stirrup attaches to the head, the holes are too small, making it difficult to attach the original bracket. Incidentally, no screws are shown in the advertising.
