Be careful with the high setting, it's really strong and powerful, it won't hurt you, but if your gums are tender or inflamed, you may feel uncomfortable. Different nozzles allow you to be more specific about what you want to do, but I've always gotten mine with the 'normal high-pressure nozzle'. It's a bit messy at first because the water will spread all over the place until you learn how to use it. Be patient, you just need practice, you will learn to control it. I really recommend this product, I think everyone should have it at home.
