I used this Humancentric Adapter Mount on my non-Vesa HP 25xi monitor and then installed it on the ERGOTRON LX Desktop LCD Mount . All I can say is that this adapter is built to strict specs, like a good German car. When I connected this adapter to my monitor I knew it would be great, no movement in the connection, tight, tight, tight. I then mounted it to the LCD mount and the holes matched perfectly when mounted, I was even able to use the cool thumb screws that came with the Ergotron desktop mount. Product with care, details in products are a rare breed today and you made me very happy. Now that I'm fully wired I have a 25 xi monitor upside down over my 27 xi monitor which is exactly what I need and the monitor and arm are just as firm as when they are upright. I also move this monitor towards me and move the portrait and the mount and monitor fit just right. (that was my big question when i bought this adapter, can i use either the monitor or the arm to carry the load and the adapter arm is definitely NOT a weak point, of course it is a monitor not built for vesa) Overall it works fantastic At both ends. I'm not worried at all, if something bad happens I'll update this post. Humancentric also sent me a warning email with model numbers this device will work for before shipping. Cool, we all know that when a cheat doesn't work the way it's supposed to (you usually take things apart before trying). And they also emailed me just before the delivery day and told me what tool I need to install. Both emails included links to help (never tried so don't know).
