We got this bed knowing that we were planning to get a dog soon. We didn't know that the shelter would call and give us the opportunity to adopt a six moth old tiny Scotti puppy. So the bed seems a little large for our little pup. But she has been sleeping on it every night for the past week. It seems to be working great.It arrived the same day as our pup and took a few hours to adjust just like she did. It arrived in a pretty compact roll that was a bit hard to remove (I didn't want to leave my chair to get scissors). It comes with one cover pre-installed and the generous addition of two others packed in ziplock plastic bags.The bed can be used with either a lamb's wool-like side up or a beaded, non-skid side up. Our pup choose the lamb's wool of course. The covers easily zip on and off. Inside, the memory foam is actually in small pieces. This allows it to be pushed around a bit by caregiver or dog to get it in that just right position. Our tired pup always has to go through a mattress adjustment ritual before bedding down for the night.This seems to be a fairly well made dog bed and the two additional covers make it a bargain.
