my girlfriend liked my flaks so i got her a pair for her birthday. Most people seem to flinch at the price of a pair of Oakleys. That's what I did until I tried Blades for a day with a friend in the 90's. I had my own pair next payday and haven't been without them since. Light, comfortable and excellent optics. No eye strain, no pinched nose, they pierce your ears. It's been like that with every model I've owned and the Flak 2.0 is every bit as good as the others. Polarized lenses are good for everything and essential for things like fishing. Yes, they're more expensive than the cheap ones at the gas station, but they're great shades and well worth it.
