bulbs work well and are bright enough. However, the silicone around the LEDs is too thick and not suitable for some applications like my microwave. We kept them and just cut off some silicone to make them fit. Hopefully there will be a redesign in the future. Excellent quality. Update June 25, 2020 So my original score was a 4 due to the bulb fit. Three months later I had to replace one of the lamps because it no longer worked. The LEDs are supposed to last "forever" and I got three months. Even with constant use, which is not the case, they should last longer. So be aware that they don't last long and you will have to trim the finish to make it suitable for some uses.
