If you have a router/modem installed in one room it will work, if like me you have more than one room in your house it's useless! I tried to get them to work in the range I bought and wanted to use but I didn't go. Moved to another room, still didn't work. Went into the room with my router and it worked, set up as advertised. Moved it back to another room after installation. Ha! Well it's a joke. That does not work. This gets 3 stars because it technically works. IF you want to use them in a studio apartment or in a room with a router. Or you have a completely open floor plan and close the router. However, if you live in the real world where you have more than one room in your house and the room you want to use them in is different than your router, then ditch them and find a product that works .
