    It's much faster to replan the road if you.

    Replan your road when you miss a turn much faster than the earlier version. Not terribly impressed with the new map as it is harder to read compared to the previous version. For some reason the contrast isn't sharp. The size of the following street name is relatively small compared to its earlier version. I hope TomTom updates their map design.

    Good GPS but could be better

    Clear screen, it would be better if it was a bit bigger. Slow loading of map updates over Wi-Fi. It has voice recognition, but you have to press a few buttons to turn it on yourself, and then there are multiple replies, so it's hardly worth the hassle. Similar to the route recording feature, you can record how you got to a certain destination and reuse it later as the route you want to take - handy if the route you want to take isn't the 'best route' selected by TomTom " is.     takes too long: car video

    I love the TomTom brand but I only had it a few weeks before my problems started and I never left it in the car. For me it turns off spontaneously. When entering an address, listings take a long time to load and are rarely in the state I'm in right now. With my old TomTom I could choose the federal state. I guess it takes so long because there are so many cities and street names. I've never used speech recognition, so I can't comment on that. But honestly I prefer my old one which is 10 years…

    Problem solved. This is my fourth Tom Tom GPS and it had a major flaw. It keeps sending you to the wrong place. None of the other units I've had have ever done so. For example, a trip to Costco in East Hanover, New Jersey led me to a cemetery on the road 1/4 mile past Costco. The trip to Monmouth Shopping Center took me 1/4 mile north of the mall.     I've been using TomTom exclusively as a GPS provider for almost 20 years. Today they lost me forever. The best feature of my previous version was that it rerouted me due to traffic issues and warned me about delays on my route. I overlooked the fact that several different TomTom models I had were extremely "faulty" and buggy, and I still occasionally had to pull out the map to find out where it was pinning me.     Ready to return UPDATE: Problem solved

    Finally found a phone number and called. All issues were resolved within 10 minutes. The problem was explained by the fact that for my model, My Drive only provides Wi-Fi to the device, and not just going through the device to update. Original: This is the third Tomtom product we own. This was the most difficult. First, Tomtom My Drive does not recognize the device.     Warning this device doesn't work with iPhone at the moment

    This device doesn't work with my iPhone 8 I found out after days of trying to get it working. I called Tomt tech support twice with this issue. On the second call, the technician asked for my phone number. I told him iPhone 8 and he asked what software version I have on my phone. I said that I have the latest update 13.2.3. He then asked me if I could upgrade to Android or something and the device would probably work with that phone. I told him that of course I would not exchange the phone, but

    After receiving this device, I went to the car to set it up. When it comes to connecting to my phone, it tells me I need to download a "TomTom Drive App" before I can establish a Bluetooth connection. The problem is that when I go to the download app it tells me in red that the app is not available in my country.
