I've been using TomTom exclusively as a GPS provider for almost 20 years. Today they lost me forever. The best feature of my previous version was that it rerouted me due to traffic issues and warned me about delays on my route. I overlooked the fact that several different TomTom models I had were extremely "faulty" and buggy, and I still occasionally had to pull out the map to find out where it was pinning me. But that's the final insult. I've just bought a GO 52 and found that it needs to be synced with my smartphone to get traffic information. For the past five years, friends, co-workers, and my kids have taunted and looked down on me for "still using GPS" instead of using a smartphone like everyone else. Don't you understand that your main customer is also the one who doesn't have a smartphone or doesn't want to use it to give directions?
