Just received this case. Looks good, protects and is cheap. At first I kept putting it off putting the Mac book in and out of my school bag. I think the plastic or resin it's made of took a few days to "adjust to my particular laptop." Now everything is in order. Maybe it just took me a while to get used to the lid. I identify my Mac Book, shaping the laptops that everyone else in my class uses. We all have small silver laptops. Now mine is unique. Also, the lid fits well and is easy to detach and remove so I don't think it will damage my laptop's finish.
