Even after a few months I still have to switch between this chair and a normal desk chair. As you'll see in other people's reviews, the backrest is set too far back, forcing you to keep your torso fully upright without the aid of a chair. This chair is good for several hours at a time. It really helps my body transition between the two chair styles. As others have said your shins will hurt from this chair. The padding is good but the padding/fabric stretches and loosens slightly (again only a few months of use). All in all a good chair but I probably wouldn't buy it for this price ($500) if I tried it first because you still need a regular work chair. There is an issue with entry and exit.
