I also had two other trimmers for paper and postcard making. I've never managed to cut paper properly with it. However, this trimmer works like a charm. I especially like the blade that makes perforated lines on paper that are easy to tear off. The wave is pretty thin. I think I need to practice the scoring feature more, but I'm happy with this as I constantly fold my cards about 1/8 inch or more from side to side. The only thing I don't do is it's like a corner shot to round a corner. You have to balance all the paper so it lands in the right place. I already have a corner punch that works much better, so I guess I won't be messing around with it. I love how the flat platform shows the different paper sizes in the "A" system. I never know what they are talking about when the instructions say A4 or A5 paper. I'm thinking of paper sizes like 8x11 or 5x7 etc. It helps me figure out what size I need. I think it was a bit pricey and I noticed that others with the same type of item were selling it for about 1/3 of what they wanted so maybe the listing price is a typo. Really appreciate the opportunity to try this as it will really help me with my paperwork and my old trimmers went home with my cleaning lady. Many Thanks.
