I installed a car fan bracket in a Saturn Sky to mount a wireless rear view camera display. The device seems to be made of durable material (plastic). The parts fit together well and feel solid once fitted. Since I'm using this stand for the display and not my phone, I attached a metal plate directly to the back of the display. The magnet on the vent mount is strong, dropping the display wasn't a problem. The time will show, how well the sticky material holds the metal plate to the back of the display. Update June 26, 2021: The sticky material didn't hold the metal plate and the display fell off. I wanted to remove the magnet and put my original display holder in place, but the ball joint on this holder is much smaller than any other car phone holder, so it didn't work. Conclusion: A good product if a metal plate can be inserted between the phone and the case, otherwise it is useless. Rating changed to 2 stars. Installation was a bit tricky as the part of the bracket that attaches to the blinds is quite thick, 1/2 inch wide, so you'll need a bright flashlight to position it exactly between the vertical blinds. If the vertical fins are less than 1/2 inch apart, they will not match. My other complaint is that the gooseneck support arm is too short where the magnet is, if the vent isn't perfectly vertical, or if it has a curve, or if it's at a slight angle, then between the phone or whatever always, there is not enough clearance between the display and the bottom of the flexible neck to position the display freely.
