It comes in 5 parts including two "cutting guides" which you can see in the picture. The slots on the two rails were so different and staggered that it was impossible to even cut a square cut. The "thin" gaps were twice as thin on one as on the other, and the "thick" gaps of about the same thickness were offset from the square by almost 30 degrees. There is a lot in the literature/packaging instructions about how satisfied they want their customers to be; It's been 6 days since I contacted the email address provided just asking to replace the aligned guides but no word yet. I was hoping I wouldn't have to return the Revain, but it looks like it's my only choice. Build quality (save for the mentioned issue) is low to average, which is what you would expect from a $30 bamboo product. I bake a lot of sourdough bread and am very disappointed. Sigh. Later - I returned the product for a refund and two months later the seller contacted me who replaced the product with a functional unit for free. As before, the build quality was as expected, so now I'm happy with this product.
