Update: *I was on an American Airlines flight, probably an inch X. I had to hide the backpack from the flight attendants with a baby blanket I made for my kitty bought that it doesn't have to be removed before takeoff (because you know it has to go completely under the seat).* My cat was great, although she was jumping on my back because I was almost running from gate to gate, she got used to it very quickly (but it was my cat), it helped a lot to be able to look around and feel comfortable! *You will draw everyone's attention, so I don't recommend using an acrylic window. I hate it when kids and adults get too close to look at my kitty KEEP YOUR DISTANCE RESPECT MY PRIVACY oh god I really hate that! In any case. The child was comfortably on my back. Original: Good. I like the backpack. But read on. Pros: Uncomfortable fit for my 12.7 lb cat. It is long and tall (34 inches from head to tip of tail). It jumped right in (although it was designed for my 10.4 lb girl). My 10.4# little girl fits perfectly, she can stand, turn and hug comfortably. Cons: Uncomfortable in the lower back. Less weight doesn't mean less discomfort. If it's a word Second: nothing, unless they are kittens. I am concerned about my kitten's motion sickness. I walked around the house and patio and felt that after a while she might not feel comfortable (quick walk at the airport.
