My dog and I spent a lot of time learning how to put these boots on. After I got the hang of it, I realized these are the best dog boots I've found for small dog feet. Buying socks helped a lot. Your feet will slide much more easily into a boot with socks. These boots really stayed! I didn't have to search for them in the snow even if one of them bounced off. I have tried many, many times to modify other types of boots without success. Her feet stayed dry and comfortable enough for our "arctic" winter weather (we're talking -25+! and snow) - enough that she was actually able to stay outside long enough to do her "things" without herself to worry about frostbite. . I can't say enough about how the Walkee Paws have had such a huge impact on our dog's winter grooming!
