First it arrived folded in half. I ended up putting it on the porch in the sun to get rid of the wrinkles that were preventing it from lying flat. It catches quite a bit of litter, but because my son cleans the litter box and my cat sometimes jumps over it, some of the litter manages to escape the mat. All in all, it does a pretty good job of keeping an eye on the junk everywhere. I like it.
