Worked for 6 months not worth the money for a short lifespan

Received in January, it died towards the end of June...so it only lasted about 6 months; what is acceptable. And when it broke it fell apart completely, although it was never left outside in inclement weather. Even though it worked great for those 6 months, the short lifespan isn't worth it. For this reason I cannot recommend this product. Manufacturers/companies need to create durable and maintainable products; a one-off or a subscription is enough.
