I was a bit hesitant to spend the extra money as we went through backpack after backpack as my nephew is so harsh on it and I am happy to report that we actually did find one that did works and I did it. No problems with lightning dips or bursts! That was always a big problem for him. He uses a 3 ring binder for school and it fits perfectly in, along with a separate compartment for lunch, binders and books! Will definitely be buying these backpacks for my other nephews! If I had gotten this sooner we would have saved so much money! Update *** 2 months later the stitching on one of the straps has ripped so will last a lifetime. Before this happened I ordered a 2nd backpack for my brother who is in 2nd grade. I noticed there are now holes in the bottom of his bag, probably because he misplaced it when he went to his locker in the morning.
