Not for dogs with thick coats

I bought this to keep my dog cool when traveling. Although it worked, it didn't last more than an hour. My dog has a thick undercoat and it just didn't stay wet long enough to help. I bought a cooling "rag" and ended up dipping it in the ice water of my cooler - just how I made this product - and it helped keep it cool. It might work on a very short haired dog but it didn't work on my akita chow mix etc.

Pros

Place in water, roll up, then place in fridge for 10 minutes and remove. The cooling effect of the dog bandana becomes more obvious.
