I recently added this to a fat tired bike (Mongoose Malus). I mostly ride gravel in an area with few hills. I used 36 with 29 and it was difficult to get over some hills, especially gravel in the wind. I switched to an oval 34 speed gearbox and the difference is significant. The first ride was in the wind and my time was shorter and I wasn't as exhausted when I finished. I love oval wheels. The fit and finish of the product were good. It installed as expected and looks like it will wear and work well!
