I bought this knowing it was only 1080p. But I just updated the latest firmware 1.3.6 (because it doesn't work with the old original firmware - no picture) and I was able to change my camera to capture and record 4k 30P UHD videos! New firmware update feature? I can't tell if it streams 4k to the benbox or 4k to my phone (or maybe my camera records in 4k and outputs 1080p hdmi?) or just displays 1080p on my phone but I can do 4k UHD like my Nikon Control P1000 recordings in 4k. Maybe I don't get it, and maybe he always could, but I've read extensively that when I switch the camera to 4k, the video view on my phone goes blank. I read it somewhere. I thought it was on the internet, it must be true! This is not .tldr. I can record 4K UHD videos on my Nikon P1000 while watching videos on my Galaxy S9+. Hooray!
