Does what it should.

Works well and shows you what's on the camera screen but very frustrating until you find out you have to disable other wifi's and connect benbox on your phone! The instructions on the website are very difficult to navigate. And it doesn't allow Sony cameras to interact with it. Their website has a hidden table listing all the cameras that can work with it, while Sony only works with video transmission. However, it's very useful if you're looking for it. Hence the 4 stars.

$100 can't be wrong

I have this to sit on the PXW-FS7 and show my clients what I've photographed. He does it and he does it well. Also, a big plus is that the application now works on Mac M1 computers. Pretty easy to set up. There were some issues downloading the new firmware, but we'll work on that later after the game. The distance seems normal. About 50 feet away with a wall and ceiling in the way, which I'm fine with as most viewers will be in the same room. Additional features like audio embedding would be…

WOW WOW WOW! Phone monitoring 4k 30p UHD!

I bought this knowing it was only 1080p. But I just updated the latest firmware 1.3.6 (because it doesn't work with the old original firmware - no picture) and I was able to change my camera to capture and record 4k 30P UHD videos! New firmware update feature? I can't tell if it streams 4k to the benbox or 4k to my phone (or maybe my camera records in 4k and outputs 1080p hdmi?) or just displays 1080p on my phone but I can do 4k UHD like my Nikon Control P1000 recordings in 4k. Maybe I don't…

Multi-camera error in Windows app

Hello! The Windows 10 app states that it supports Wi-Fi switching to support multiple devices, but the program does not run any protocols to connect individual devices. There is no workaround. to support multiple devices, since the program also does not allow the user to switch wireless networks. It should work by requiring the device to connect to a centralized wireless network, not the way it currently works with devices broadcasting their own networks. A good example of how this works is any

Exactly what I needed!

So I decided to give this newcomer a chance. I would say that it is good value and looks more attractive than other HDMI transmitters in my opinion. Let's get started: Okay: First! VERY solid construction! I'm not sure what type of metal is used in this thing, but it's definitely high quality. It's like $500+ worth of gear. (I've always felt that heavier items make things look better.) Second, size. I use a Sony A6300 with this one and I find they complement each other very well. I was afraid…

Surprise your customers with this little transmitter tank!

If you're an independent filmmaker or freelancer, you need to invest in Benbox right away. It was one of the most useful and helpful tools I have ever bought for video production. I took some test photos at home and was able to use them in a commercial recently, so let me talk about the pros and cons. Pros: - Well-built all-metal construction (it's a small tank) - Easy to connect to devices (phone, computer, tablet up to 3) - Reliable up to 250ft then acquisition lag. - Very useful for director

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price

Before the pandemic, I never thought about using a radio transmitter for my video shoots because it was nice when everyone in the video village was talking to each other. But obviously things have changed. I only received mine about a week and a half ago and I can tell you I was a bit skeptical at first but now I believe. I like the processing quality very much. It literally feels almost like military-grade material. The assembly is very solid and the connection was very easy. If you have…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Unbeatable price, simple design, small footprint, hot shoe included, no antennas, large battery capacity, the best design in my opinion. The picture quality from this thing is amazing. But there is also application design, features, instructions. which are completely absent. So it's a good thing the image quality isn't unbeatable, lots of detail (much better than the Hollyland Mars X which has a fairly soft and blurry image with a lot of compression) but that's about the only thing you'll get…
