Pros: - Easy screen replacement (I already disassembled my phone to replace the battery a few months ago, so I had a good idea of what I was doing) - Easily replace the home button with Touch ID - Perfect fit. Good:- There is a bright spot at the top of the screen. Not scary, but noticeable. The Bad: - The ambient light sensor doesn't seem to be working quite right. It does not always react to lighting conditions. Once the phone went from a dark state and a bright screen to a bright state and the screen dimmed. It was useless. Ugliness: - *There is no 3D touch feature!* I had no idea how many times I've used it! It's like going back to your iPhone 4s. In general I had to replace the screen after spending 2-3 hours in salt water with it in my bag (it was in a LifeProof case which *MOSTLY* protected from water) and it was an inexpensive solution compared to a new one phone. Background: My screen had vertical stripes and then eventually stopped working (within 36 hours). I was still able to receive Bluetooth calls in the car and use Siri to make outgoing calls. 90% use 99%). I did this with my original screen and it cleared up well (crystal clear image, touchscreen worked etc) but had a big bubble to crush (it was cool but I didn't want it to be there). ). I was impatient, turned off the phone, disconnected the battery, disassembled the screen, dried the 99% IPA with a heat gun, put everything back together and parts of the screen worked (there was a big smudge and a horrible vertical line). Now the touchscreen wasn't working, so I couldn't unlock my phone to use it for anything (not that I see much anyway).
