It was perfect for my 8ft tall, very full Christmas tree that breaks into four pieces. I took the advice of another reviewer and put the original box in the bag first, then the wood. Thus, the bag keeps the rectangular shape well. I measured the box my tree came in and then found a storage bag that was at least those measurements. It fits in a bag made for a 7.5 foot tall tree. The only issue I had was that the zipper hole didn't look big enough to fit in the box, but after bending a bit here and there I fitted it in. If I want there is still room for a wooden skirt or something else. I am very satisfied with this storage bag and can recommend it. I am 77 years old and can easily roll my tree wherever I want.
