I bought these attachments to complement a Shark steam mop I bought new in April. Summer. I took the dirty mops home, washed them and ended up using them on an old Shark steam mop we found at the town junkyard and it worked great. The old mop used velcro pads but after reading reviews of replacement velcro pads I decided to buy the same pads as for the new mop. I find these pads thick, absorbent and don't hold lint like the original pads. Since I've found these pads work with an old mop, I can just take them out and use them anytime. The pads are also easy to wash. I wash them with towels and dry them on medium-low heat. They come out perfect!
