Review on Focal Aria 906 Black High Gloss Bookshelf Speakers (Pair) – Enhanced SEO by Ada Niemirka ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice price, good quality.

The speakers require a rather long warm-up - this must be taken into account before making an opinion about the nature of the sound (after they have warmed up, a somewhat harsh shade at the bottom and middle frequencies goes away) The sound of acoustics itself can be described as academic and strict - it does not try to somehow color it, but quite honestly (and sometimes ruthlessly) will give out, first of all, a low culture of recording a composition, and, of course, mp3 compression. Just as gratefully, he will play a quality track, allowing them to enjoy it to the fullest. Some people may like this style, some may not. Nobody canceled the golden rule of listening before buying - you can read dozens of opinions and reviews; your ears will be the best adviser. I personally compared the sound in the demo room of a well-known store in Hong Kong with Monitor Audio Silver, Heco Celan GT302, Dali Opticon 2. No importunity, obtrusiveness in the upper frequencies (which some complain about) was not noticed, despite the fact that the acoustics are used in conjunction with a class D receiver - Pioneer SC-LX76. In terms of the ratio of cost and consumer qualities, I consider it one of the most attractive offers.

Pros
  • Sound (see comments) Front-facing bass reflex position - more flexibility in terms of speaker placement Appearance - against the background of boring cubes in various veneers or varnishes, the combination of materials in Aria makes you take off the grills and enjoy them visually as well.
Cons
  • Someone may miss an extra pair of terminals Sound (see comments)
