I don't have an outdoor grill or flat surface, but I have a two-burner flat pan for my stovetop. I was looking for tools to use with it and this set fits my needs. Two long, thin spatulas are great for scrambled eggs, turning burgers/pancakes, or frying veggies on a flat surface. The lathe is long and thin, easily crawling under a piece of fish and turning it over without breaking it. The 3 remaining paddles are much thicker and are good for breaking up hamburgers or scraping food stuck to a flat surface. Other tools (board scraper, scent injector, brush, etc.) are basic but also of good quality. Everything fits easily in the included bag EXCEPT the cheese melter dome which you have to carry separately. It's not obvious in the photos, but the top of this dome is plastic so you can see how your food is behaving inside. I also have to thank this company for their customer service. The set I received had an issue with the thick 2.8" spatula, the metal had clearly visible cracks on both bends and actually broke with very little pressure. Everything else was good. I contacted the company through Amazon and they immediately offered me a loan or replacement. I had a replacement a few days later and everything was fine, so the problem I had was probably coincidence. I think I can recommend this as a good set of tools and a company to take care of you when things go wrong!
