I don't normally do product reviews but feel compelled to rate this product because the top rating says it only works with a fire stick and not cable TV and that just isn't true folks me just do not understand how HDMI works, as well as audio inputs and outputs. Chances are your TV has multiple HDMI ports, but only one of them allows you to input and output audio simultaneously (probably HDMI 1). Your soundbar should be connected to this. Once your soundbar is connected to it, your cable TV audio can be selected by the soundbar via HDMI. My husband and I have two bad boys like this and we love them. They are great, the sound quality is amazing for the price, they are super easy to install and the fact that a built in fire stick is unbeatable. They usually go on sale on the best day or Black Friday so wait until then if you want to save some money, but buy it, you won't regret it!
