Like everything else, when it works it's great. And that in 75% of the cases. Otherwise, this printer is a pain in the ass. Here's why: 1) Reading tapes. Sometimes the program does not recognize real and FULL printer cartridges. There are MANY hacks out there and you can try them. But sometimes it just doesn't work and I throw away great cartridges because the chip is unreadable. This will waste HOURS of your time. 2) Sometimes it won't turn on and you need to do a hard reset. This involves unplugging the printer from the power supply for 5 minutes, then holding down the power button and turning it on at the same time. In most cases this works. It currently does NOT work. And again it wastes HOURS of my time trying to find workarounds. 3) It performs automatic cleaning in the middle of the night. I live in a studio room so the printer stays in the room while I sleep. And he wakes me up with his loud cleaning noises. Because of this, I try to turn off the power before bed. There are other issues (including the difficulty of clearing congestion), but I've probably either gotten used to them and the workarounds, or I've forgotten them. In short, I would not buy this all-in-one again. The number of online hacks for this printer is enough to prove that it is "problematic" at best. Pay a little more and get something reliable.
