I love this little black Vox recorder, it's easy to but I have a co-worker complaining about problems he's having when using MAC, but these problems occur on all devices when connected to Mac, such problems never occur on Windows, I use Black Vox with Windows to upload files, it works smoothly. Pros: Easy to use - press a button and you know it's on. Connect it to your computer and listen to the recordings. High quality microphone. The mic seems to pick up everything and the recordings are very clear, we tested it at 5/15/30ft it's very clear. Write the timestamp according to your computer. The instructions state that you can only do this on a Windows PC, not on a MAC. Sensitivity Control - You can change the volume required for voice recording to start. You can only set this with a Windows PC. Cons: Timestamp. If you only have a Mac, you cannot set the timestamp. The best solution is to set it up on a Windows PC, unfortunately this is just one of those annoying MAC problems. Another note for Mac users. When you delete files from USB drives on a Mac, they don't really go away and the USB drive space doesn't decrease until you empty the Trash (hidden files). When the Black Vox fills up with vinyl, it's obvious that it can't record anymore until the vinyl is removed. So be careful if you're using a Mac as deleting doesn't free up disk space as the MAC just hides the files unless you empty the Trash, again another pesky MAC protocol that has been confusing my co-worker for a while Has. I also noticed that it doesn't record when connected to a computer. I contacted the seller regarding this and he explained that it is intended for hidden placement, not to be connected to a PC. So if you want it to be charged and recorded at the same time, this is not a solution, they said that the purpose of a long-life battery is to be placed in places where the device is in a hidden place for a long time, under one Car seat or can work with a magnet attached to the office. Table etc. I definitely recommend this product but I'm a Windows user and it works for me without any problems. The issues my colleague who uses a MAC has encountered are just constant Mac issues that can occur with any number of USB drives running MAC .9.5/10 for Windows7/10 for MAC
