Thought they were more like thermal socks but inside they're basically like a fluffy polyester blanket. I need them for our cold house because I'm a "barefoot woman" and it got very cold this year. They're warm when I wear them in my boots in the Ohio winter, so I keep them to myself and wear them to the shop.
