i I am a swim coach and mother of 5 swim coaches. I constantly promote the health and performance benefits of dehydration. This bottle has a beautiful color. It's a bit wide for my daughter, but there's a plastic protector on the outside of the bottle that makes it easier to hold. The plastic is thick and durable. For sports, it's really small. My daughters train 2 or more hours a day and need at least 2-3 times as much water. The weak point of this bottle is the plastic lid that snaps open. It works well and they put a rubber bumper on it too, but if you drop it it will break. Of course, not many bottles will survive a tumble onto the pool deck, but expect them to bounce off it at least once.
