Real chocolate flavor, very mild sweetness, delicate flavor, easy to drink - uncomplicated

WOW, I love that. You know that with protein powders: Before you take that first sip, there's a built-in shrink factor. We buy powders without knowing how they will taste. Will it be the typical chalky, overly sweet, tasteless flavor that needs to be supported by the addition of a few other things, or will it be the mythically delicious magical elixir of awesomeness? Well, while this isn't the second, it's a far cry from the first. To me, this is the most natural tasting blend I've tried in a long time. I always need protein or meal replacement drinks. It's a protein powder, but it contains all sorts of nutritional ingredients that really enhance the nutritional profile. Not exactly a meal replacement drink, but when you're starving it can provide enough benefits to last you through the day. So try it. This review is about CHOCOLATE but I will comment on BANANA as I have both. So both reviews will say roughly the same thing. Okay, banana first: I love the taste of bananas in general. When it mattered I had high hopes but low expectations. rzunimag. When I first opened the can, I sniffed. I couldn't find the banana. I was sad. So I filled my mixing bowl with 8 ounces of unsweetened almond milk and 1 scoop of this powder (which was on the bottom of the tub). I basically did as instructed. When I try something for the first time, I try to follow the directions and then make adjustments over time. The instructions say water can be used. I stirred for 30 seconds. Then he took a sip. I TRIED BANANA! YUP! OK, already impressed. Next comes the level of sweetness. The level of sweetness is very mild. It has stevia in it - and you know how companies can be - they upload this stuff. So I will say that if you are used to more heavily sweetened foods, this will either be a very refreshing change, or it will be frustrating and you will want to add sugar. I love that it has a slightly sweet taste. And that I can taste the banana. And that's about all I'm trying to do. A mild, easy-to-drink, plant-based protein drink that won't irritate your taste buds. His. soft. As for this CHOCOLATE. Same idea but instead of a natural banana flavor it has a pure cocoa flavor. Because it's also not as sweet and cocoa like baked cocoa or raw cocoa, it has a pure chocolate flavor. I usually add unsweetened baking soda or raw cacao powder to make my so-called chocolate protein drinks taste more like chocolate. It tastes like chocolate. Of course, there's never too much chocolate, so feel free to add more chocolate. I also tried it here with 8 ounces of unsweetened almond milk and 1 scoop of powder. I can drink them like this. or if I had to "treat" them I would probably add some banana to both the banana option and the chocolate option. Maybe add some instant coffee to the chocolate (with a banana - remember the old Vivanno Starbucks? Yes, I will). Then you know. Collagen powder, maybe some mushroom powder. Or I can just shake/mix/blend a plain scoop with plant-based milk and you're done. I'd say this is for those who want a smooth, natural drink without a lot of sweetness or weirdness. I like it a lot for that reason. It quickly rose to the top of my list of drinks of this type (I have a brand I like, a very sweet one that I use to mask harsher flavors like veggies and matcha). BTW, both of the products I use are in 16 ounces of loose powder. 18 servings per container. 90 calories, 15g protein, 2g fiber (3g total sugars, 0g added sugars, 6g carbohydrates), 85mg sodium, 0g cholesterol, 1g fat (0 saturated, 0 trans). I will add a picture of the label for more nutritional information.
