I bought it to use with Carplay. I was a bit concerned that the iPhone would not work well with this cable, but so far, after about 2 months, I haven't had any problems. I like the coil so I don't have a tangle of cords in my cabin. Black is also good because it doesn't irritate the eyes. Very durable. Only time will tell but I wouldn't be shocked if this continues as long as I have the car.
