This is a very well made product that is easy to clean and easy to move. It's a little heavy, but at least for me it's manageable. I have no problem picking it up or disposing of rubbish. A major flaw noted by others is the small "spout" (notch) on one side of the mat, which I believe is intended to make it easier to pour urine out of the center when the mat is held at both ends and in folded down the middle. The problem is that if you have a "problem" cat like me who sometimes likes to sit on the edge of the litter box and urinate off the edge onto the mat, the result is a lot of urine running down the ribs. to the nose and the floor. However, this problem is easily solved by placing a small object under the mat where the spout is located and raising the mat high enough to prevent urine from pouring out of the spout. I use a small plastic "Checker". Since this problem is easy to solve, I can highly recommend the carpet. It's big enough to catch almost all "hanging" debris from a large enough tray and seems strong enough to last a lifetime. One more note: the mat doesn't slide easily, which I really like, but can be a disadvantage for some people in their particular situation.
