When is "matte " really "matte "?
When you buy this product it is not a matte finish. You will need Angelus 'Duller' and add up to 8% to Matte Acrylic Finisher to get the desired matte finish. You can try using a little over 8% Duller, but if it starts to get cloudy, you've used too much. Out of the bottle it has more shine than a "silky" finish. Matte is a relative concept and each manufacturer has their own idea of what a matte finish should look like. I've noticed this with "satin" spray paints. Some of them are truly semi-glossy and others are more matte, like "black" is a relative term. Black can have a red base, a green base, or a blue base. Black on a blue base is closer to true black.
