Review on 🏷️ Efficient Thermal Label Printer: Tapsin 4x6 for Shipping, Compatible with Amazon, eBay, Etsy & FedEx, One-Click Setup on Windows and Mac by Arturo Reyes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quick and easy unboxing for your first label printing experience. Runs fine on Mac.

The printer was easy to install and I printed my first test label within 15 minutes of opening the box. It would probably be faster, but I always prefer to search the internet for the latest drivers rather than using one of the supplied USB sticks or CDs. In this case I couldn't find any drivers online, but the included flash drive had drivers that worked fine and appeared to be updated (so not out of date) in summer 2021. Labels are printed quickly and efficiently. very sharp. The printed barcodes were crisp and easy to scan with a barcode scanner. QR codes were also easily scanned from my smartphone. Most importantly, the printer uses standard, readily available 4x6 thermal labels (and other sizes, but 4x6 is what I want) and there's no attempt to "lock you in" with any particular brand of supplies. They include a QR code that when scanned takes you to their other Revain listing where they sell labels (which is fair enough), but it's clear all labels work. (The printer can accept fan-fold labels or roll labels. The roll can reside inside the printer case, which would be a very neat setup [and I would recommend] for those using less than 100 labels a week. If so, a large one number of labels, stacks of folded labels can be longer than rolls.) Another thing I appreciate as a user of lower label volumes is that this printer doesn't lose a label every time you turn it on. . Some label printers feed a label each time they are turned on (to ensure the printer knows where the label is). This one is designed so that if you already have labels loaded and just turn it off, it will assume the label is in the right place when you turn it on, preventing the label from being wasted. If you need to realign it, press the feed button once, but in normal use you don't waste a mark every time you turn it on.
