I am 6ft 6 inches tall, generally in good health and weigh 176 pounds. In life, I'm not the strong, handsome man I used to imagine. Consequently, I find the robe VERY DIFFICULT to wear. On the plus side, it's well made from good (but distressing) terry cloth, with tight loops at the front and back. I washed the robe in an automatic washer dryer before putting it on and it removed a lot of the lint, although the rich royal blue was decidedly quick. The shrinkage was not excessive. Size XL fits me perfectly, with sleeves below the wrists and hem about 6 inches off the floor. I recommend this product but wish I was young enough to be able to more easily carry its significant weight. With scissors, be prepared to cut many hanging ribbons that are easy to remove and will not affect the overall quality of the garment once removed.
