I'm not sure which is more impressive. product or packaging of its parts.

I'm serious. I giggled when I first saw the size of the box this table lamp arrived in but was amazed when I unpacked it. There is very little empty space occupied by pieces of foam. And each piece came in a reasonably sized plastic bag or sleeve to protect the finish. Assembly? Well, the instructions are a bit shy, but between the bill of materials and the drawings, it's not hard to intuitively fill in the gaps. It would be better if they specifically stated that the only tool needed for assembly is the hex key that comes with the hardware. Worry about it for a moment before you get to work. But once the assembly went smoothly and quickly. end product? I like it. It includes a phone "hotspot" for charging phones that can be inductively charged. I didn't know it was a feature when I bought it. Everything seems solid, including the lamp's swing arm or, most importantly. The supplied LED lamp is bright, but its light is soft. It looks like a good product as it was an easy project. Are there any disadvantages? Two. We hate the included shade, so we left it disassembled (as it takes up very little storage space) and reused the old lampshade. The markings on the tabletop showing where the phone's hotspot is could be more subtle, e.g. B. be smaller and / or differ less in color from the rich brown of the table. This is unlikely to result in a breach or demotion in my view.
