Not the *most* comfortable shoes, but with some toe padding inserts these shoes were comfortable enough to wear for hours for my wedding. I broke them in with water bags in the freezer, then loosened up the toe area with a heat gun while they were on my feet.For cheap shoes they were fairly comfortable, considering I have arthritis and most shoes are uncomfortable on me anyway.The bow is. okay. Not a full bow, but a single piece of fabric that has been cut and just knotted in the middle. I think an actual 3 dimensional bow would have looked nicer, but this does a goid job of hiding the elastic on your ankle
