I ordered the navy blue XL and I normally fit anywhere between a large and XL. The size I got fit just right for my pregnancy. I'm currently 27 weeks. I got this dress for my maternity photos. I won't be taking them until July 2016. (I shopped early I know.) The dress was not see through, although a little thin. I would be a little weary of the lighter colors. The picture may look black, but in better lighting u can clearly tell the dress is navy blue. No cleavage showed and I still have some room to grow and I'm a 40D. Your undergarments should be nice and silky though so the dress doesn't cling to your underpants. I'm also 5'1 tall. The dress is a little long but nothing a hem or some high flip flops can't fix. I'm looking forward to wearing this dress for mine and my fiancés maternity shoot & baby shower!
