Fashion and functionality

This bag is a winning combination of fashion and functionality. I'm a minimalist packer, I have five young children, and I've been diligently (and painstakingly I think) looking for a bag that will organize my essentials without being huge or looking like a diaper bag. This bag makes it possible! I've been using it for a year now and it still looks new and serves my needs well. The quality and detailing of the exterior and interior is superb. Faux leather is soft and buttery soft. It's fully washable both inside and out so it looks great despite diaper bag abuse. The long strap is a durable webbing that allows for comfortable carrying over the shoulder or crossbody. The top handles are essentially grab handles, although I can also slip my hand through them to carry the bag in the crook of my arm (this works for someone with a small to medium build). I love the stroller's built-in straps. They work with both my stroller and my umbrella stroller (where I can slide them onto the handles in seconds. Great!). This bag may look stylish, but it opens WIDE which is handy if you can see what you've packed. this bag. I stow my phone, keys, shopping list and a pen (with plenty of space) in the outer pocket. In the outside zip pocket I put a lining pouch for easy access. An inner stretch pocket holds 4-6 diapers and diaper cream. The other carries a Medi-Buddy first aid kit and travel comb, sunscreen and bug spray. In the zipped pocket I tucked some makeup and lady products, as well as extra hair ties, breath mints, and hand sanitizer. The main compartment holds my wallet, a large travel cube with a rolled-up change of clothes for each child, a small travel cube with some toys, a tissue pocket, a small zip pocket with bin liners, and a changing pad. With all this, there is still room for my water bottle and/or spill-proof cups for my twins, as well as room for Jujube Be Quick or other items that take up that much space. Here are a few things you might not like about this bag. First, this is not a backpack. I don't care: I wear this bag when I need to quickly and easily get things out of the bag over my shoulder and/or when I'm carrying my baby in the back carrier. When I need a backpack I use my Miss Fong bag (which I also love). The way I pack it, the bag and its contents weigh no more than 5-6 pounds, but if you regularly pack this bag full it can feel heavy and you may need a backpack. Which brings me to my second point: this is not a packer's bag. The size and capacity is suitable for those who pack lightly or moderately for 1-3 children. If you have twins under a year old, wait with this bag - you still have to carry too much, but even that will pass. It's also not a bag for people who want lots of compartments and more than 4-6 pockets. Has 5 pockets and one main compartment. This suits my organizational preferences as I like to have a few bags but not so many that I have to repack them or forget what's in them. I also tame the main compartment a bit with a few pockets. All in all, a dreamy bag for those who love order with a good dose of style and a streamlined packer! I am happy that I have a bag that meets my needs as a mother and at the same time I would like to carry it with me when I run out of diaper bags.
