These socks work wonders. I've had problems with arch supports for years, even with work shoes (I'm on my feet 10+ hours a day at work). I started wearing them as a last resort before spending insane amounts of money on special shoes that are sensitive to the arches of my feet and I am no longer in pain! I don't know what it is but at the end of the day they have taken care of all my pain. The only reason for the 4 stars is that despite following the size chart, they run a bit big. I have size 10 = 10.5 (US size for women) and L/XL and they are a bit too long for me.
