I had a bad habit of just storing my keys from the start. I laid my hands on after I got home. I left my keys in many strange places like a box of cheese, my refrigerator, the corner of a desk that is never easy to reach with the eyes, a TV stand, a shoe rack, a safe spot in the front pocket of my office bag, to name a few . Sometimes places are so perfect (sort of) that you'd never believe you could keep your keys safe there. When I go to work I basically rush around the whole place looking for keys, this device has helped so far. I liked, that it comes with the battery needed to operate the key finder. I live on 950 sqm. ft. 2 bedroom apartment and found no problems with the range of this unit. Good buy I would say!
