I have a toddler who likes to lose our remote controls. It saved our sanity 😂 I took a piece of gift ribbon, tied it to a beeper, tied the end in a knot, put it under the battery compartment and snapped it shut. Holds in place and works great!

LOUD is not the right word. I found that I had to be within 10 feet in complete silence (no background noise) to know where the keyfobs were. 1 fob is even weaker and I have to be within 5 feet to hear it. I had new Sony CR2032 batteries so I tried them with Sony batteries with no improvement. When the key fob is placed face up in total darkness, the key fob's flashing light can be seen from about 3 meters away. If the key fob is facing down, you cannot see the light.

Almost gave 4 stars because it didn't come with 2 AAA batteries for the remote control but then gave up the idea. I cannot deduct a single star from this 5 star rating because the product works so well. The range is excellent! The remote and receiver can be from corner to corner of my house and it still maintains a signal! Love it! And the signal is loud. My RF Key Finder arrived very quickly but I was disappointed to find that two of the four CR2032 batteries were dead on arrival. I didn't trust the other two batteries so I replaced all four for $7.98 plus tax. Other than that, the key finders seem to work well. I no longer look for keys or a laptop bag. I wish people would refrain from praising a product they only use for a few hours or a day and a half. A little over a week later I lost two batteries AND the battery cover for the small tweeters. This comes from normal wearing during activities. Also, beepers are very poorly constructed because they aren't flat on both sides - they're rounded - making them almost impossible to attach to anything, no matter how much glue you use.
