The thing is SUPER! With winter comes snow (aka frozen water), in which case I don't hesitate to place my camera in places where the slightest mistake could cause water damage. I walked out onto the frozen lake not afraid that if the ice broke my camera would be destroyed. Without hesitation, I placed it in a melting waterfall (it even fell into a puddle). I wouldn't even consider putting my DSLR anywhere near these locations. The only problem is that I control YI 4K through my app on my phone. They connect via Wi-Fi. And therein lies the problem. Wi-Fi does not transmit over water. So if they could fix it (maybe a strip of metal inside the case with a water sealed connector and then we could connect a cable to it? This could make the wi-fi signal go out of the water. I don't know. I don't know , you know I'm not an engineer).
